What this site is

A privately published guide to the Vanuatu passport: how it is obtained, what it costs, where it is accepted and how it ranks.

Independent of any government

Nothing here originates with the Government of Vanuatu. This is not the Citizenship Office or Commission, not the Financial Intelligence Unit and not the Department of Immigration and Passport Services, and it holds no designation from any of them.

Diplomatic and official passports

This site states, and repeats, that diplomatic and official passports are issued to serving officials for official duties and are not available for purchase. The Citizenship Office has published warnings about Vanuatu diplomatic passports being marketed overseas. Nothing here describes any route to obtaining one, and any offer to sell such a document should be treated as fraudulent and reported rather than pursued.

A description of a programme is not advice about your position in it. Nothing here creates a professional relationship or replaces an adviser who knows your circumstances.

No outcome is promised

Citizenship, and therefore the passport, is granted by the Vanuatu Citizenship Commission at its discretion. Nobody can assure approval, fix a date or recover a fee once the corresponding work has begun. The due diligence fee is not refunded where the check is failed.

Travel access and rankings

Destination counts on this site follow a stated convention: visa-free entry and visa on arrival combined, territories counted, electronic visas excluded. Other publishers count differently, which is why totals vary. Entry requirements belong to each destination and change without notice; the European Union suspended visa-free access in February 2023 and the United Kingdom in July 2023.

Fees, rules and visa arrangements change. What is written here was checked against official sources on the date shown with each page.
